Traction Avant 11A

For this model, a completely new engine/gearbox cradle and front suspension assembly are required. They will will have to be built from scratch. Below are some renderings of the front suspension arrangement.
Although these renderings don't show it, the model will incorporate the rack and pinion steering introducd in May 1936. One consequence of that change was that the front shock absorbers were moved from the back of the cradle to the front.
Virtually all the components you see in these photographs are 3D printable.
The tire tread patterns are consistent with the 150 x 400 Michelin 'Stop' tires originally fitted to the 11A.

Engine & Gearbox
The torsion bars, running back from the cradle, are part of the independent front suspension. They are anchored by a cross-beam that is attached to the sides of the engine bay.
Although the engine and gearbox are very similar to the 7CV, the 11A has a wider radiator and wider cradle.
